About

Meet the Fosters – your friendly neighborhood sheep farmers!

We have been farming on our little slice of heaven in the Golden Corner of SC since 2013.

Sabill Farms (pronounced “say-bill”) was founded in 2013 by Sara and Bill Foster in Westminster, SC. The farm has grown over the years and now includes horses, sheep, goats, chickens, honey bees, dogs, and cats. The Fosters strive for top-notch animal husbandry, superior genetics, and environmentally conscientious stewardship of their land.

Sara

Sara graduated from Clemson University’s College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Life Science with a BS in Animal Science. She has had animals all of her life, but getting her own farm was the ultimate dream. Sara is always reading, researching, and attending continuing education seminars to make sure they are using the most up-to-date information when managing the farm. When not managing the farm, Sara is on the go with her 3 daughters.

Bill

Bill graduated from Clemson University’s College of Engineering and Science with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys fly fishing for trout on the Chattooga and Chauga Rivers. Bill introduced honey bees onto the farm in 2015 and is a member of the Oconee County Beekeepers Association where he was the 2020 Beekeeper of the Year.
