The commercial flock consists of Katahdin ewes (registered and commercial) which are bred by a Katahdin/Dorper cross ram. Our flock is culled aggressively for hardiness, parasite resistance, mothering ability, and fast growing lambs. Ewes have good feet, are rarely wormed, and lamb multiples unassisted on pasture. Lambs are raised on pasture and weaned at 90 days of age.
Meat lambs and commercial breeding lambs are available for purchase. Lambs are evaluated for conformation and growth before being sold as breeders. Please contact us at sabillfarms@gmail.com for availability and pricing.
